PERSONAL INFORMATION

jp-blog-3.jpgGreetings! Thanks for visiting. And feel free to introduce yourself in the section ”About You,” which you can visit by clicking here

As always, I continue stretching to wrap my arms around the social web and love every minute of it! IMHO, the social web is a great place to be if you have passion, want to be passionate, crave to ignite passion, discover your passion and/or simply want to bask in OPP (other people’s passion). I’m not sure why all this passion seems concentrated online, but I do know that passion is fuel for life. And, because we’re all connected – this is a good thing.

I’m lucky to be in Oregon, my home since 2007. We moved here from Salt Lake City with my husband’s job transfer. Although my husband and I are both from back east, we plan to retire one day out west. For some reason, mountains are like magnets for us. It’s no surprise, then, why I like rocks, gems and minerals so much…from river rocks, to semi-precious to precious (these I usually just admire!). My most recent find was from a place called the Inca’s bridge near the border of Argentina and Chile. This rough piece of green onyx has got soul – pure and simple.

I love exploring new cities, countries, and cultures – just hate to travel to get there. I also like walking and hiking. Skiing (although I am not avid). Mountains. Words. Reading. Animals and birds, with a bias toward the wild variety. People with an opinion. People who ask WHY? Genuine people. Oversized bath tubs and any kind of natural bath salts. The Sundance Film Festival. Art. Good wine. Great movies that don’t spell it all out for you. Different perspectives. Vegetarian food. The sound of the ocean. The way I feel after a gym workout (but not the workout itself). True leaders. Outdoor concert venues (with great music, of course!). Functional anything. Star-studded nights and cloud-littered  days. My mother’s baked goods. Homemade blueberry yogurt-protein drinks. Pizza from back East. Strong belly laughs. Fresh-cut flowers in a vase. Wild flowers. Taking photos. Live theater. Learning. GREEN. My husband. And, sometimes, burying the lede.  :)
