Thanks for stopping by, Andrew. Oatmeal is far better for you than traditional cereals. Stick with it...you'll notice a huge difference! Regular milk works just fine, too! Went crazy this week and bought some organic dried sour cherries to add to the mix --> YUM.

Mmm.. that sounds pretty tasty.
I usually wake with a "sour stomach" and an urgent need for caffeination. I often have difficulty choking down anything when I feel that way, and since I am usually in a hurry trying to wake up, I drink coffee and call it a plan. That usually results in me not eating all day, a sure recipe for disaster. I don't like doing it, but what could I do when my belly is so disagreeable.
I have made efforts to fix my malnourished ways, and have found that things that are cold and wet seem to do the trick. Breakfast cereal is an old standby, but yogurt is my new favorite. I can even dip otherwise unappealing food into it and find it tolerable. The replenished stomach flora reduces the nausea, and even survives the hot-coffee rinse that soon follows :-)
Oat-meal does the trick too, though, and I have never tried soaking my oats before. Is that a technique to be used with non-dairy milks, or is it powerful wisdom of the ages?
Thanks for the tip :-D

Sounds great - I'd substitute a tablespoon of butter and a pinch of salt, blue berries and maybe peaches.
